Jones Party Hat

Renewed faith in humanity. I has it.

When you type "Deepgro" into Google, DeepGround is the second thing to come up. EEEEEE!

I'm going back home today, which is when I'll be catching up on everything glorious and fanfic. During that time, I'll also have Christmas, work on the basis of my Founder's Project (the new one. I'm going for "Complexities of the Recording Process." My Dad and I will be covering Heart-Shaped Box.), spend time with Bri and Renald and generally, you know, have fun.

Unfortunately, that also means that I'll be home with my mother and her twisted "MUST HAVE HIVE-MIND" complex. It's not that I dislike her, we just don't see eye-to-eye or have much of anything in common and, instead of just letting that go, she insists on shoving everything relevant to her onto me. However, she's a cynical conservative republican. Her idea of relevant is politics, cats and woodland creatures. My idea of relevant is the music, writing and science. I'm leaving out the things that my mother could never even consider trying to examine, such as video games and manga.

But, whatever, since the vacation is longer, I can spend more time with Bri and less time at home, hanging out with the family, pretending that we have things in common. It sounds really harsh when I put it that way, but it's true.

(RC: I haven't had much time to update that fic. I'm working on it. Sorry for being so late with it.)
