My back hurts...

I've added another chapter of Matchstick. Lots of stuff happens in this one. Probably the best thing I've churned out in a long time too.

No classes today, which is good because I'm sick. Ugh... I told my parents yesterday that I only had a cough, but that's proceeded into a sneezing fit. Probably just my "School Cold." I stress myself out really hard about school and wind up getting myself sick. That's all this is, but it still sucks.

Went very OCD on my dorm yesterday, mostly out of boredom. Then I watched Tool Academy in the second floor lounge, which was entertaining. Legal voyeurism always is. Aida joined me about halfway through that, and then we wound up watching a bit of Degrassi (which I kinda like now). Then I said something about one of the kids looking like a cross between Jesse "Roxas" McCartney and Zac Efron. I mentioned that rumor about Zac Efron playing Light, but I didn't say Death Note. Then she goes, "Well, what's the movie about?" And, in the vaguest terms possible, I say, "A notebook that kills people." She goes, "Oh, Death Note?" And we proceeded to watch a bunch of episodes on Google videos. Good times.

I should probably get dressed and eat something. I haven't eaten since around 6 last night.

Lolz

Dear readingchick :
I don't really know how to tell you this, but I our romance is over. I think I realized it when I tripped on sesame seeds with George Bush and his wife and when I saw you knock out that crazy monk. I'm sure you're man enough to understand that Santa doesn't exist. I'm returning your ring to you, but I'll keep your suicide note as a memory. You should also know that I always wanted to break the incarnation of the eskimo.
With Ease,

Woooo...

Just got back from my first college party. As Aida and I kept saying the entire way there, "It's an adventure," and, as I kept saying, "Something to talk about on Livejournal later." So, I'm performing the latter.

The walk up itself was an adventure. Aida and I set off around 9 o'clock and the mighty Google Maps said it would take about 25 minutes on foot. I said, "Okay." We walked for probably an hour and a half, asking directions from various passers-by and must have walked up a grand total of five, calf-straining, heel-blistering, fml hills before finally arriving at the frat houses.

Then, we got to the actual party.

First of all, I'm not drunk. There wasn't even beer and, if there was beer, I didn't have any. Secondly, the frat boys were not ALL horny dogs or, if they were horny dogs, they were remarkably discreet about it. What happened was, we got there, talked to maybe a grand total of three people and went our separate ways, Aida and I. I went to go play volley-ball with a bunch of people, she went off to have a cigarette, I think.

After the game broke up, I followed my BandNerd!instincts and found the live band that was playing in the basement. I pseudo-bassed with them for the better part of my time, because they were good, had no bassist and I could actually hear something in my head that would have sounded good.

Then, I went upstairs to find Aida (and maybe dancing) and came across a bunch of people getting a ride home, including Aida. So I got a ride back to Sage, but I had called shotgun, so I was right up front and- this made my night- the guy had "Man Research" playing in his car. "Man Research," for those who don't know, is one of the epically awesome songs written by Gorillaz. So I had a fanspasm in the car. Then I got his number, as did everyone else in the car, and was told that there was another party on Friday. Glee.

I need to shower and go to sleep now. I'm still not feeling all that well and I've got a Chem Lab course in the morning.
